Capricorn Stellium – An Introduction

(c)August 1, 2012 by Donna Cunningham, MSW

I recently made the startling discovery that every single child born on the planet in 1989 had a triple conjunction of Uranus, Neptune, and Saturn in Capricorn. The conjunction was also in range during seven months of 1988. During the winter months of both years, the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars created stelliums of as many as seven planets. We’re talking about millions of them!

Astrologers, these young people in their 20s are starting to show up for chart sessions with questions about their perplexing career and relationship issues. With tough planetary combinations like these, they’re very different from people you’ve worked with in the past. It’s important to get prepared for them, as they’ll be part of your practice for many years to come.

If you haven’t seen any of these folks yet, you’ll be seeing them soon because they’re just coming into the workforce and trying to sort out the major questions we all face as we enter adulthood. Astrology has much to offer them in the way of self-understanding, because both their challenges and their abilities are exceptional.

We astrologers need to be able to interpret these complicated stelliums and explain the conflicting energies that Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune add to the mix in plain English, or we won’t be much help. Just as doctors and nurses are required to earn continuing education credits in order to stay on top of developments in their fields, we also need to update our skills to meet the needs of the newest generations of clients.

My ebook, The Stellium Handbook, has step-by-step information to help people put together the pieces of their stelliums, and devotes an entire chapter to this special generation. It also features many self-help tools. Download a  sampler here:  Stellium Handbook Sampler. and order here:
